Harvest is officially OVER! Now we are busy with spreading fertilizer, tillage and cleaning up equipment. We were granted some really nice weather this week but as we all know that could/will soon end so keeping on with it until then!
2013 Harvest is full on now...or was I should say. Beets got going just in time for the latest rain event which has now slowed us down hopefully just a day or two.
The combines have been running in soybeans as well, once the rain hit it's been a slow challenge and now we are switching over to corn for a few days while things dry up.
Here are a few pictures of what's been going on around here lately. Lot of spraying, in a late planting year seems like all the spraying going on at the same time. Still touching up some soybean sprays as well as sugarbeets.
We are also working on the yard once again. Took down an old shed and are working on leveling off where it sat to the front of the new shop.
Next up will be wheat harvest, thinking about 10 days away from staring that. All the crops are looking good!
